<The history of the Nichirei Logistics Group>
Nichirei Logistics Group Inc. has been putting continuous efforts by our each one of employees to meet our customers' and social demands since its founding more than 60 years ago. And we have been achieving the mission of social infrastructure and improving customers' convenience through our business. Started from ice producing business, our storage business for imported foods had been supporting the rich and varied diet in high growth period. TC (Cross Docking Center) business, which we positioned as the pioneer in retail distribution innovation, has now become key growth driver in our company. And Non Asset-based 3PL business has been continuously challenging for optimization of total logistics not in single logistics section, but in total.
In recent years, we are putting most of our effort into full range-temperature logistics service in food sector and global logistics by setting up multi-functional logistics centers in Higashi Ogishima port, which is located close to the Tokyo metropolitan area and aggressive investment to overseas business which has a lot of growth potential.

The food logistics industry is currently faced with a range of challenges to meet dramatic changes in the business climate, including an increasing need for better logistics quality driven by diversifying consumer needs, and heightened awareness of food safety and security, as well as a need for full-fledged efforts aimed at reducing CO2 emissions. In order to achieve these goals, we must continue to propose innovative ways to improve logistics and the quality of logistics operations from the perspective of our customers so that we are able to provide efficient logistics services that benefit our environment and communities. This will enable us to provide logistics services to satisfy our customers' needs.
Based on Nichirei Corporation's philosophy that directs us to "looking at people's lifestyles and providing them with true satisfaction", Nichirei Logistics Group will continue to provide logistics services that meet the expectations of our customers and our communities. To this end, we have defined our brand slogan, 'Selected Leading Brand Name as Ever', and share a common recognition, 'Nichirei Logistics Group will continue to lead temperature-controlled logistics into the future and support food supply in Japan', and we are engaged in improving customer satisfaction.
